  • WHAT DOES CAPE COD PANEL DO?
Cape Cod Panel is a labor only manufactuerer of wood frame building components including exterior walls, interior partitions, gables and more. We provide quality custom panels for almost any size wood frame residential or commercial structure. CCP also offers full framing and panel erection services through our partners. Our panels have been used in builds in every town on Cape Cod. We're proud to be a part of the Cape & Island economy, providing local employment services.
  • WHO ARE OUR CUSTOMERS?
Our customer base continues to grow. Most of our customers are residential builders and framing contractors who recognize the value of our process and want to gain an advantage in the field.
  • WHAT IS OUR PROCESS?
Our process is focused on minimizing framing issues in the field that will result in costly change orders, wasted material and delays - it's about efficiency in framing. It begins with client provided architectual plans, typically as a PDF file. We review these plans, develop questions, offer guidance and provide an estimate of the panel labor costs to fabricate the components. Once we have a commitment on the project it moves to the design phase. It's at this phase that 3D framing plans are produced and reviewed. We identify and work through any design issues with the client and produce the material take-off for the panel build. Component production starts when our design is complete and signed off by the customer. Builders and Architects have told us that we've saved their clients thousands of dollars in unanticipated costs. "No one wants to get to a second floor and say how are we going to fix it ..."
  • HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PRODUCE THE PANELS?
Panel production is ongoing, and each job is treated as a custom build. On average we can produce superior quality components for a 3,000 sq. ft home in 5 days.
  • WHAT ARE THE COST BENEFITS OF USING PANELS?
Our process is key to efficient builds-minimizing waste, time and labor. We know first-hand what less material handling means to a project. Optimized cutting and assembly in our shop means reduced material waste, less job site disturbance and cleanup. Less weather exposure to material, lower dumpster costs, and reduced material theft adds up. It's a win for all concerned-better frame, less mistakes, faster build.
  • DOES YOUR PANEL PROCESS AFFECT THE QUALITY OF A HOME?
The quality of a frame is enhanced using our panel process. Panels are built in a controlled environment.
